The COVID-19 pandemic has revealed to the country how important it is to be sure your body is prepared for situations such as this. Most healthy adults think about exercise, but not necessarily giving a thought about exercise for the children. We must get or continue to keep our children physically active in order for them to have an unstoppable defense when it comes to pandemics, viruses, or diseases. According to Harvard Health, exercise and a strong immune system can keep you healthy and defend you against environmental assaults.
This is the time we all need to do our due diligence. You should know yourself better than anyone else, and you know whether you cared for your body like you should have over the years. If you have not now is the time to start. You must be aware of your nutrition and what it is you’re putting in your body. Is it the best you have and is it live food or processed food?
Several epidemiologic studies suggest that regular exercise, fitness, and physical activity are critically important for the health and well-being of people of all ages and weight. Regular physical activity is associated with decreased mortality and incidence rates for influenza and pneumonia. Data support a clear inverse relationship between moderate exercise training and illness risk.
Research has demonstrated that virtually all individuals even frail and very old adults, mobility and functioning can be improved through physical activity. Regular exercise can reduce around two dozen physical and mental health conditions and slow down how quickly the body ages. Millions of Americans suffer from chronic illnesses that can be prevented or improved through regular physical activity. Regular physical activity has been shown to reduce the morbidity and mortality from many chronic diseases. Therefore, physical fitness should be a priority for Americans of all ages, weight, and fitness levels.
We have an event that can strengthen your immune system, benefit your heart, improve your balance, strengthen your bones, etc. Our event can benefit people of all ages, weight, and fitness levels all while making everyone look and feel better!
When it comes to your health and fitness, the two most difficult steps are getting started and staying committed. The Brutal Fitness Challenge workouts are built on motivation and fun! We want to help you be an inspiration to yourself, your family, your community, your colleagues, and anyone you come in contact with.
So how do you prepare for the type of shenanigans you will face at the event? Since everybody’s so different there is no one answer. If the training you are doing is enjoyable and it gets you motivated, then use that training to get you ready for the event. Do not worry about failing because we learn where our weaknesses are by doing things that we are not accustom to. Our training can be used as a supplement to your current training or as the main source of your training. Check out the descriptions below.
The Brutal Fitness Challenge Workout is a unique program designed to challenge and train all fitness levels, by combining functional strength training and cardio within the workouts. The training is functional fitness for life, not just for the Brutal Fitness Challenge event. Each class delivers a workout that is fun, unique, and challenging. Our workouts are built against 4 Fitness Pillars: Sleep, Power, Strength, and Endurance.
It is extremely important to get an adequate amount of Sleep. During sleep, the body produces the majority of its growth factors and hormones that aid in daily muscle repair and recovery. Whether you are an elite athlete or a weekend warrior, your body needs time to rest in order to recover for the next workout.
This workout will improve reaction time, enhanced cardiovascular function, increase strength, elevate calorie burn, and improved efficiency of movement.
This workout will make you stronger and fitter, benefits cardiovascular health, improves dexterity, helps protect your bone health and muscle mass, increases your metabolism, helps keep the weight off for good, helps you develop better body mechanics, helps with chronic disease management, boosts energy levels strengthen your core, helps to alleviate weaker areas of the body, and improves your mood.
This workout will help keep your heart, lungs, and circulatory system healthy, improve your overall fitness and can reduce the risk of many diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.
Our mission is to provide a fun filled way to promote health and fitness and that makes the event even bigger than itself. We want our participants to know that being healthy is the foundation of enjoying life. So come on and be an inspiration to yourself, your family, community, colleagues, and anyone you encounter.
PLEASE NOTE: All Registered Participant can attend the workout sessions for $20. The $20 covers the Registered Participant and two children. The cost per session for Non-Registered Participants is $30 for Adults and $25 for Children. If you would like to invite someone to accompany you at your session, please feel free to do so. On the initial visit a $30 fee per Adult and $20 per Child will be required. If the adult becomes a Registered Participant after the initial visit all sessions from then on will be $20, which covers the Registered Participant and two children. If the adult or child does not become a Registered Participant the Non-Registered Participant fee remains in effect.
*Locations, Dates, and Times of sessions are subject to change at the discretion of the Brutal Fitness Challenge. Teams have first priority on all sessions.
